NFCS REV. FATHER INTERVENES IN POLITICAL TUSSLE, AS ELECTION CAMPAIGNS HEATS UP

One major event this semester that is sure to raise eyebrows without doubt is the various campus associations’ elections, already banners and posters of different aspirants’ litter every corner of campus and it sure promises to be intense.

At later part of yesterday, information reached us that the Catholic priest heading the NFCS here on campus arranged a closed door meeting with the four aspirants gunning for the SUG Sec. Gen. Office in other to reach a compromise for a consensus candidate as all four aspirants happen to be from the same fellowship. Details of the meeting though happens to be cagey, although indications suggest none of the aspirants of Desmond(Law 300level), Dennis(Engr. 300level), Murphy and Charles both 500level Engr. is ready to step down for the other as all four aspirants were seen carrying out their campaign duties after the meeting. It’s likely this might go down the wire except something yet to be known happens.
