Lecturers’ bemoans Engineering students’ exam performance

This might not go down well with engineering students here on campus as reports in the engineering faculty has it that the lecturers are seriously disappointed with the general performance of students’ in last semesters exams.

In a brief chat with one of the lecturers who pleaded anonymity, the lecturer seriously complained about the lack of seriousness exhibited by most students’ who he feels was a major reason for the poor performance. He also lambasted the students’ poor reading culture as well as misplaced priorities on the students’ part, advising the students’ to sit up early enough and face why they are here or have their selves to blame for any misfortune saying the faculty is quickly moving away from the normal business as usual thing.

Although we are yet to receive reactions from students over the outcome of the exams we can only advice students’ to please start taking their studies serious for heavens’ sake. Drop your comments and reactions below, thanks.
