It’s now history, it had all the drama and intrigues
everybody envisaged and what we all can say is it was certainly worth the bubble.
Yesterday’s LAWSAN elections produced one of the most
shocking results in LAWSAN election history, some of the results were expected,
others were never taught of, while some were just too outrageous to believe.
But all in all, it was a success and all the contestants who partook in the
elections can only raise their heads high for putting in a good fight.
Even before the elections commenced, almost everybody knew
the battle that had the higher stakes, while some of the ofices were decided
even before the Election Day, that of the LAWSAN Sec. Gen, Fin. Sec and PRO
were far from concluded. And just as it raised eyebrows, it never disappointed.
For the post of LAWSAN Sec Gen, nobody would have imagined
it going one-sided not even the calm Tejiri Terry who floored Mac-4 saw it
coming. Terry pulled 186votes to trash his rival Mac-4 who could only manage
81votes. Kudos on the other hand would be feeling hard done by the outcome of
the election as he was all this while favourite to land the Fin Sec position only
to end up losing by a narrow 3vote margin to Henry who pulled a remarkable
129votes to Kudos 126, with Kudos having an extra 31votes declared void as they
were casted in the wrong ballot box.
For Paul, it was a sweet victory as he overcame a resilient
Mena by 15votes amassing 150votes to Mena’s 135.
