Provost Cup Update: Dip. 2 engineering sneak past Dip. 1 engineering in all engineers’ clash

After a one day break, the Provost Cup tournament resumed duties today with an all engineering diploma clash which took place amid showers of rainfall. With spectators all out cheering even in the cold, the two teams fought for pride and points offering a fair share of excitement and fun.

After 90mins, it was the senior diploma 2 team, strapped in their traditional blue jersey, which held sway over their Dip. 1 counterparts sneaking in a late goal to win 2-1 after a torrid evening.  Though they lost, the diploma 1 team can lift their heads high as they gave a good account of themselves, giving their counterparts a good run for their money.
