Miss NUESA Pageantry. NUESA line-up activities for their week

With the NUESA Week, scheduled for 1^st-5^th of September, a few weeks away; the association has made available to Campus Echoes a glimpse of the programs set to take place during the week.

In an exclusive chat today with the NUESA President, Comrade Uti Nwachukwu- the president informed us that the Week will kick start with an all out rally scheduled for the 1^st of September; followed by Courtesy Department Mental visit on the 2^nd of the same month. On the 3^rd will witness an Award Day Ceremony. The fourth day will provide fun for sports-lovers as it will be the football finals. While a gala night featuring a Beauty Pageant Show for the Miss NUESA contest will draw close the Week on the 5^th. During the Week, NUESA customized T-Shirts will be used and will be available before the Week commences. Interested students should contact the PRO.

During the chat, the President lamented the association’s lack of funds to run the budget due to the inability of some students to pay their dues. He also lamented the absence of a 100L in the Faculty who, to him, were a major source of funds. (no wonder why some engineering departments have announced that to submit your reports you must show you payment receipts)

He also informed, Campus Echoes, that contrary to murmuring among students with regards to their performance of the Executives so far; the association is running round the clock to ensure students benefits from their dues.
