Yesterday, being Sunday the 10th of April, a couple of students journeyed to Umunede in Ika North LGA to pay their repect to the late Chike. We were able to speak with the LAWSAN President in the person of Orisewezie Desmond who was present at the event and this was what he had to say;
'When we entered the town Umunede in Ika North East LGA, we first of all stopped at the Obi's palace to intimate him of our mission to the town to condole with the late Chike Kingsley's family. Obi of Umunede, His Royal Majesty Ezeagwu Ezenwali Agadagidi II then permitted us to go ahead, this visit was led by the LAWSAN president, Comrade Desmond Orisewezie while others present were SUG Presidential aspirant Comrade Djebah Oghenemine, LAWSAN treasurer Odili Precious, LAWSAN speaker Chika, deputy speaker Marc Anthony, Clerk Okoye Michael and members Murphy, Aghogho. Henrietta, Lawretta amongst others. We conveyed the condolences of all the students of the Faculty of Law to the late Chike Kingsley's family.'
