What has been formally known as manifesto has been transformed into a debate by a group of intellectually minded persons known as Shelley's Asylum.
The presidential debate which is scheduled for Tuesday 8th December would not be the usual charade of noise making by the supporters of the various aspirants but rather a sought of conversation between the electorate and the aspirants.
Shelley's Asylum in conjunction with the Lawsan Electoral Commission has taking necessary precautions to make sure the event turns out an intellectually minded event modelled after the famous American Presidential Debate.
The purpose of this transformation is to bring to the notice of the electorate, the various plans of the candidates and how they intend to run the Lawsan Government if elected.
A body of rules and regulations has been set out to serve as guidelines for the electorates who would grace the event scheduled to hold at NDDC hall by 3pm on Tuesday 8th December, 2015, and they are as follows :
*You are to come in your usual law attire--Black and white
*Once inside the hall of debate, you are expected to comport yourself
*Supporters of each candidate, are not allowed to take swipe at each other by using foul language.
*No banners, tags or other campaign materials are allowed into the hall.
*Audience are allowed to ask the candidates questions.
*Audience are expected to comply with the directive of the coordinators within the course of the event.
*Disciplinary measures would be taken against defaulters of the above directive by the school authority.
