Desmond Orisewezie and Oshie Ewomazino revealed!!!

Paraphrasing the Greek philosopher, Seneca, “luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” No politician in our campus exemplifies this ageless truth than the comrade, Desmond Orisewezie. With his foresightedness and his eagerness to portray the “early to rise” mantra, Desmond has not only pull the whole crowd to himself but has also innovated the political landscape of this campus. Many, of course, wouldn’t agree with this fact but a close look at this political rally yesterday might force one to question whether Desmond is out for the Secretary General or the SUG Presidency.

Capitalizing on his position as the class co-ordinator of the present 300L Law students, Desmond has almost monopolize all the votes from the Faculty of Law. Indeed, he deserves such momentous support as he has countlessly demonstrated to all that he is accessible at all times and is willing to render assistance as a class rep to his classmates and also to levels lower than his.

Comrade Desmond has fully hinted that he is a true believer of the biblical truth- “that a good name is better than riches.” He demonstrated this without reserve when he served not only as class rep but as first assistant Secretary General to LAWSAN and later Secretary General.

The competence of Desmond is unquestionable, and his political ingenuity is something one must pause for a while and comment on. If he continues on this track, our Desmond is sure to be one of the greatest political figure of our time.

Another political force that cannot be ignored is comrade Oshie Ewomazino, the SUG Presidential aspirant. Calm, soft-spoken and undoubtedly confident, many would have marvelled and even point to such qualities as somewhat ominous to the system but never has this citadel for residing great minds seen such an individual endowed with such great aura of self-confidence.

His calmness and quietude in the face of insurmountable challenges and peddling propaganda stems from an unwavering and never dying ideals he has built his life upon; raised from a very humble background and reputable home with a mother who has instilled discipline, virtue and character into young Oshie Ewomazino.

His passion lies in the domain for bettering the lives of the ordinary campus student, providing a voice for students in a campus that has for too long lacked one.

We can’t just pass-up Oshie-Ewomazino and Desmond Orisewezie for a life well below our esteemed heights. Come out en-masse tomorrow without sentiments and cast your votes on reliable, credible, tested and trusted individuals because they would not disappoint.
