Terry, Mack-4, Henry and Kudos pull crowd at LAWSAN manifesto as race for LAWSAN house enters last phase

Yesterday was the eve of the LAWSAN elections and it didn’t disappoint in anyway as it was full of the expected bee-hive of activities, events, intrigues and antics from all corners around school.

The day started in a somehow quiet fashion with the screening of the entire aspirants gunning for various LAWSAN positions, the process lasted a few hours and as it would turn out none of the aspirants failed to make the cut, all were cleared to contest the elections and so they filed in their numbers dressed in beautiful and eye-catching regalia of black suits and white inner wear, looking elegant and smart ready for the big event of the day, the LAWSAN manifesto. This time they will have to stand to voice out their intentions and plans if elected, they had the electorates to convince, they had the crowd to woo and it was then or never. It was a nervous moment but it never disappointed, the crowd were moved, they were informed and have they been able to convince the crowd, it’s only a matter of hours now and they will all know their respective fates.

This year’s LAWSAN election would see the higher offices of the president, vice-president and some other offices settled even before votes were casted, as they were all going to have an easy ride, they will be unopposed in this year’s election and what remained was the brewing battle that had been on for weeks now, the Sec. Gen. position been vied for by two friends Ekuo Tejiri Terry and Kpokban Precious aka Mack-4, not forgetting that of the LAWSAN fin. Sec. been vied for by two colleagues Ufuoma aka Kudos and Henry both from 200level, and also the relatively quiet PRO office.

The manifesto was conducted without hitches and as was observed by those in attendance, the major battle was between Terry and Precious aka Mack-4, both guys did well, though statistics clearly showed Terry pulled the most crowd during his presentation but he will be hoping for the same results later today.

The manifesto was only one of the talking points though because immediately it ended, then came in the ginger time, both aspirants brought in DJs for the night and so they paraded round campus campaigning amidst sweet musical renditions filling the air, whoever comes out victorious later today will certainly go gaga for real.
