Last week Monday it was as if hell was let loosed on IVL as a heavy downpour shattered their hostel, darkness overshadowed the hostel, no water; all of these became the lots our girls. But one week later, they are singing a new song and they are jubilating once again, the smiles are back, and their faces are beginning to brighten up… it’s like dancing in the rain and basking the sun.
Last week they won the Female Provost Cup Final in a nail biting penalty shoot out after a grueling match with Women Affairs. Yesterday, they were at Okurakpo hall celebrating their hall day with lots of dance, drama, award presentation, FYB/FYC Special, Miss IVL pageant, IVL Miss Hot Leg competition and lots of exciting stuff. No doubt, our sweet hearts, taught us all how to organize a Hall Day and they are a source of inspiration to us all, that things do not have to be alright before you can do your best.
