SRC summons SUG for discussion over financial report

Yesterday at about the hour of 4pm, the scheduled SRC meeting took place at the Moot Court as we duly announced the day before yesterday. The meeting was attended by a good number of representatives, notably, Hon. Francis (the Speaker), Hon. Godswill, Hon. Haggai, Hon. Daniel and others too many to mention. Also present were key members of the Executives, which included comrade Marshal-Umukoro (SUG President), comrade Ufuomadega (Secretary-general), comrade Maxwell, comrade Evans and comrade Tennyson, who were summoned to clarify the House with regards the financial running of the SUG.

Briefing the House during the meeting, the Executives informed the House that over 75% of the budget had been disbursed and utilized, and also that they are still going round the clock to source for funds in other to carry out capital projects. The Executive also told the House that regards the DSTV subscription- they have been able to subscribe the DSTV’s at the Common rooms. The SUG vehicle is still at the mechanic workshop under repair.
