IVL girls surprised the whole campus by having Government hostel girls defeated 1-nil

With the field filled up with spectators and fans, our dazzling IVL and Government hostel girls gave no damn but fought relentlessly for what was at stake- points and pride. And after full-time, the girls strapped in their traditional yellow jerseys from IVL held sway with a 1-nil victory over their counterparts.

The IVL girls played to instruction and exhibited great tactical understanding from defense to attack, stopping every threat that came their way (much credit, though, to their goalkeeper). See pictures after the cut.

The Government hostel girls on the other hand looked disjointed owing to lack of training sessions but will have the opportunity to redeem their image when they take on Women Affairs on Friday 29^th of August, for a place in the finals.
