OPEN LETTER TO COMR. OHWOKA MICHEAL, PRESIDENT NSE+SA OLEH CAMPUS.
It was with anxiety and enthusiasm, full of hope in the cloudy future of NSE+SA that we all came out in numbers to make you the president NSE+SA.
A day we all forgo lectures and our individual affairs. With victory on your path marking the election as one one of the most peaceful election on planet earth. We congratulate you on this your mile-stone.
It is more than months now since you and your excos were inaugurated and ushered into a new administration which you President Micheal is leading but to these day Engineering students are yet to feel your impact.
It is customary that at the dawn of a new administration, RECEIPT should be shared to enable students update their files: these you have not done till this day. Let alone STICKERS,..
It is also customary to ensure that a functional NSE SRC is in place so as to serve as the judicial arm of government so as to be able to approve budget and other of its function: till this day we are not aware of any.
400L students are even out of school for I.T and may never benefit from your GO-SLOW/SLEEPING government.
If you are sleeping wake up and if you are going slow hasten up cause time is not our friend.
Welfare/true representation of Engineering students and the school at large was suppose to be your priority but the reverse is what we are experiencing, its a pitiable and sardonic situation.
On your promised registration of Engineering students with her parent body NSE; we dont know who you have so far Registered. Is this the re-engineering you promised ?
Was it a crime to have voted you, where did Engineering students gone wrong ? At the end of the day you will then come preaching same old stories other government had preached; be rest assure that Engineering students will stone and hold you accountable for its a new dawn indeed.
In as much as we have this grievance, we also applaud you for your conduct during the first semester exams but students were unable to use the Library effectively due unpalatable noise from the generator close to the Library; a case that was brought to your table and nothing was done to ameliorate the situation rather its was compromised.
Engineering students are given you an ultimatum of less than a month to make yourself and your government relevant, productive rather than been nonchalant and scalar.
Please kick start your administration and stop thinking you are still campaigning.
We advice you to be ware of Engineering students for they are too creative to be created nor manipulated by you.
Mr President sir, please make use of this available time and do the needful. There are lots to write on but we believe that ' a word is enough for the President'
Thanks for your audience
