Reports reaching us has it that our new provost paid a courtesy visit yesterday afternoon to different hostels on campus and met with residents of the hostel during his brief tour of the hostel.
During the visit,the provost asked the residents for pressing hostel challenges which they felt needed urgent attention.At Brooklyn hostel we gathered the residents complained about the hostel's pumping machine amongst other issues for which the Provost promised a new pump which will be installed today.He assured students' of better and improved hostel condition as well as the provision of new hostel facilities.
We commend the Provost effort to improving the welfare of students on campus and pray for more of such in the future ahead.
