The Delta state University, Oleh campus has been a washed  recently with political activities as students of the institution who are aspirant for political position as the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN)  elections holds on Friday 13th February 2015 after the various aspirants' manifestos today. 
The outgoing Deputy speaker of the LAWSAN parliament and aspirant for the NADESSTU presidency Hon. Ajokpaoghene Anthony spoke to a Campus Echoes reporter on the need for students to actively participate in the forthcoming elections  both in school and in the general elections that will kick off on March 28th 2015.
He said the future of this country lies in the hands of students because they are well equipped to make informed choices that will better the lot of students and the generality of the people. 
On the forthcoming LAWSAN elections that will be held on Friday 13th February, 2015, Hon. Ajokpaghene Anthony enjoins all law students to fully participate by casting their votes for their preferred candidates vying for various positions in the Association. 
He also appealed to candidates to eschew bitterness and rancour before, during and after the elections. He said students need to participate in the forthcoming general elections and students union elections, for students are in a better position to make informed choices as to who their leaders should be which will go a long way in ameliorating the lot of students and the people at large. 
He also added that students who are vying for various positions in the various student unions should see themselves not as enemies but as partners in progress. Therefore, they should eschew bitterness and rancour before, during and after the various elections. 
It should be recalled that, the LAWSAN election is reschedule to hold indefinitely on Friday 13th February 2015 preceding the aspirants' manifesto which will hold by 1pm today while the Nigerian general elections has been rescheduled to kick off with the presidential election on the 28th of March 2015.
