Onowu escapes two semesters suspension for assault on Love

Akazue Christian alias Onowu will certainly be thanking the heavens for narrowly escaping suspension for assaulting his departmental colleague Love David this week (you know the story na, if you no know click).

Both of them appeared before the University’s Disciplinary Committee to face panel for the offence, and if not for Love who, Campus Echoes gathered, pleaded and even broke in tears, Onowu would have kissed his admission goodbye, at least for two semesters.

One would still wonder why Love decided to plead and had a change of heart with regards someone who assaulted her. But for whatever reason we leave it to her; maybe she did it out of mercy or probably because she bears the name Love.

Campus Echoes, though, wishes to advise whoever cares to listen that there is no point putting your admission on the line for what is not even worth it. Imagine being rusticated for beating up a girl as a guy. Please think before you act.
