Mass failure at 2013/2014 Bar part 2 Examination

At this point we believe that to some it is no more news that the just released results of the 2013/2014 Bar Part 2 Examination was a tsunami as stated by the shocked and disappointed students. Over 3000 students out of 6000 who took the exam August this year failed and might not be given the Certificate of Call to the Bar.

As reported by the affected students, the Director General, Mr. Olanrewaju Adesola Onadeko, ordered that the papers be marked down (get details at ).

It was gathered, however, that the Director General had decided to raise the standard of the examination so that they can produce more qualified barristers in Nigeria. If this is the case, we are advising that our learned brothers and sisters here on campus should tighten their belts and study harder.

Campus Echoes was able to contact some of our friends who left for Law school from this campus last year, and most of them told us that they were among the ones who passed. Congrats to them for doing us proud.
