A magical night it was! Filled with pomp and pageantry, the hall filled to capacity with so many kept standing as the eleven survivors from the previous eviction show filed out and slugged it out for a place in the Grand finale.
It all started with Chris Jazzy who wowed all who was present with Eminem’s “Am not afraid”, then Precious took us through the train of Omo BaBa Olowo (OBO) by singing the hit “Aye”
and then lots of other mind-blowing and heart-breaking performances from Evil-spirit, Sammy song, Sly (the Illusionist), Sophie, Tee-Jaey, Breezy and Freak, Kyle XY and lastly D2 who ended the show with a rap. A pause must be made, though, to talk about the wonderful performance by Tee-Jaey who performed “If you ask me” by Omawumi. Tee-Jaey is not just a musician but an embodiment of a dramatist.

The judges were awesome and supporting, the live band was electric with touches of musical rendition and the crowd, in high spirit, went gagger periodically. Although, one will be disappointed with the Technical Crew’s control of sound, but from the standpoint of the previous eviction show, this show can be said to be an upgrade.
The all show was a blend of emotions, sailing through excitements, bewilderment, and admiration, and even scary as Sly (the Illusionist) shattered two raw eggs only for us to see powder pour out. This is to showcase the mixture of talents here in our school, Delta State University, Oleh campus. After all Tu face said that “diversity is the spirit of the carnival”. Looking for diversity, look Delsu (Oleh campus).
At the end of the show, three contestants were evicted from the quest of becoming the most talented among a host of extremely talented. We will greatly miss the charming Sophie (who was fucked-up by the Instrumentalists), the loving Precious (our Omo Baba Olowo) and the endearing Kyle XY who performed “Not the girl I used to know” by Dare Art Alade.
Director of Socials, April Osakwe, thumbs up!!!
