See Electrical guys with the NUESA CUP

With both teams boasting an array of star players, we knew we were in for a cracking cup final and just as if the rain wanted to disrupt the show, both teams defied it and fought valiantly for what was at stake.

After a very tensed but cool evening, it was the electrical guys (boasting the likes of Raymond (Tallest), Aka, Yanga, Igho, Felix, Lucky etc) that emerge champions defeating a very resolute Civil side that had the campus undisputed No 1s- Tega between the sticks, Nature (our Sport Director), Osakwe, Solo etc to a 2- nil victory.

The match lived up to the expectation and billing of the fans as it witnessed great tackles, nice tiki-taka, end-to-end football and passionate play. But as Felix found a way past the ever-present Tega to open the scoring, the electrical guys took control of the match adding a second goal which was scored by Raymond (Tallest) and sealing the win; even though Tega would later save a late penalty to leave the score at 2-0. They will officially receive the trophy this evening at the NUESA Gala night.
